R´s Story
19. september 2009: R is a passionate quilter. She´s been making quilting projects for over 20 years.
The story behind this tree is that it´s one of her first quilting pieces. She didn´t know that you aren´t supposed to wash quilting and it shrunk at the seams.
She has made this piece specially for Bypass. The buttons are from a friend who is dead now. Her friend was a seamstress and R know people who quilt all around Oslo.
The button that you can just see was bought in Trondheim especially for the tree top.
I love seeing how everybody comes with their own personalities into Bypass through the textiles that I´m collecting.
